3 things I’m thinking about for travel in 2022:
Explore More of the US
Are there any places you’ve really wanted to visit in the US but haven’t found a way to get there yet? This could be the year to find a way to make it happen. Since international travel still seems uncertain, make a shortlist of places you want to see in the US and then figure out a way to get there.
My list: Maine, Monterey & Carmel in California, and the Dakotas.
Check out this great 4-day itinerary to South Dakota if that’s on your list too!
Don’t Overlook Weekend Getaways
Travel doesn’t need to mean you go a far distance or do something fancy. Think bout places that would be fun to visit that are close to home or a quick flight.
My list: Disneyland Sweetheart’s NIght in February and some trips to our cabin about 3-hours from our house.
Plan Trips Around Events
Is there a concert that’s out of town that you’d love to go to? What about a sporting event? A work trip?
Let these ideas spark an idea for your next vacation!
My plans: A Ben Plattt concert in a neighboring state and my husband’s work trip to San Deigo where I’ll tag along.
It’s important to keep making plans and dreaming even if things are uncertain. Plans may need to be adjusted but it will all work out.
