What is Club 33?

Club 33 was the vision of Walt Disney inspired by the VIP lounges he experienced at the world fair in the early 1960s. Walt knew that he wanted a luxurious and quiet getaway inside Disneyland where he could entertain friends and do business deals. Club 33 opened in 1967 which was one year after Walt passed away. Although he never got to enjoy the club, he was the visionary for making it happen.

Only Club 33 members and their guests can enter the secluded club. Becoming a guest is a long process that involved getting on a multi-year long waitlist and then paying high fees to join along with annual dues.

Disneyland, all 4 Disney World Parks, and the two parks in China have their own Club 33. You have to be a member of each specific club to gain entrance.

Where is Club 33 Located in Disneyland?

The official address of Club 33 is 33 Royal Street located next the the Pirates of the Caribbean exit. The restaurant is above the pirates ride and Cafe Orleans.

How can I get a reservation to Club 33?

You can become a member of Club 33. But since most of us cannot do that, we can still hope to be friends with a member who can make a reservation for us at the club. This is how we got in! Ask around and you never know who might have a membership. The member needs to make the reservation for you.

If a member does make a reservation for you, be sure to follow all of the rules while visiting the club. If you break any rules, the member could be forced to forfeit their membership.

What do I wear to Club 33?

There is a dress code at Club 33. It’s general business casual. Collared button-down shirts and slacks for the guys, skirts/pants plus a blouse for the ladies. They say jeans are oaky if they do not have any tears. No flip flops. We saw a range of dress when we were there but people were definitely on the dressier side.

Can I take pictures in Club 33?

Yes, you can take pictures, but with exceptions. No photos can be taken of other guests in the restaurant. Also, no photos are allowed in the bathrooms.

There is also a strict no-video rule.

What is the food like at Club 33?

The menu is a fixed price that includes four courses. The price when we went for dinner was $130 per person. This does not include drinks.

The menu is seasonal and is always changing. The change out single items and keep rotating the menu so something new is usually showing up on the menu.

This is fine dining. We all really enjoyed our food!

Can you shop in Club 33?

Yes! There is exclusive merchandise that can only be found in Club 33. They have varsity tees, polos, jackets, Mickey ears, purses, some jewelry, a Christmas ornament, golf balls, and a few other rotating items. We had fun doing a little shopping after dinner and before leaving the club.

We loved our experience at Club 33. This has been on my bucket list for so many years and it was so fun to get to go. Honestly, I figured we’d never get the opportunity and I felt so grateful that we were able to do this.

If the opportunity ever presents itself to go to Clubb 33, just do it!
