Here are some of our favorite NYC places to eat!
Liberty Bagels
Awesome breakfast place! They have several locations.
So many flavors of bagels and different cream cheese.
Ward’s favorite was the everything bagel with sriracha honey cream cheese.
Lisa got the “Hot Mess” with a jalapeno cheese bagel. This has cream cheese, eggs, and bacon. So good!
Mitr Thai
Right near Times Square. Although it’s in a touristy area, the food is amazing!
Every dish was delicious and had great flavors.
Definitely worth checking out if you like Thai food.
Rubirosa
Awesome Italian restaurant. The food and vibes were great!
House-made pasta and pizza are SO good!
Best lasagna that I’ve ever had!
You could tell that the ingredients were top-tier.
The restaurant is tiny and you will want a reservation! They do not take walk-ins after 5 pm.
Eileen’s Cheesecake
Absolutely amazing cheesecake!
The cheesecakes are little cupcake-sized cakes.
There are tons of flavors and every one we tried was amazing!
Katz Deli
Although the line was long and intimidating, it lasted about 30 minutes.
Once inside the restaurant, you line up at the slicers to get meat sliced onto your sandwich. Or, you go all the way to the back of the restaurant and get table service.
The pastrami sandwich was a group favorite.
This is a great NY experience, and you should check it out!
Sparks Steakhouse
This is the only place where we had a reservation ahead of time.
This is a very classic steakhouse. It is exactly what you can expect out of a great steakhouse.
Great steaks, but Lisa loved the sea bass.
Levain Bakery
This is a classic NYC bakery that we always visit.
They have lots of great flavors! The chocolate chip walnut is a classic. We loved chocolate chip coconut the best. There are also seasonal flavors.
The bakery also sells other baked goods like bread and scones.
Gluten-free and vegan cookies are options.
