How to Face Travel Fears & Travel More

  • People can be fearful if they haven’t traveled a lot. Start small and then branch out. Travel can be addicting so the more you do it, be ready to want more of it!

  • Money can be a reason that people don’t travel. Of course, we do not have unlimited budgets but we can be savvy and get more out of each dollar.

  • Not enough time is a common reason why people don’t travel. Get creative!

Ways to Save Money on Travel

  • Bookingbuddy.com

  • Expedia: Use this site to compare travel accommodations pricing and flight options.

  • Priceline has similar options to Expedia. You can give both a try or just choose one site if you don’t have a lot of time to explore countless options.

  • Hopper is a great site to track flights, fin the best days to fly, and get notifications when prices drop.

  • Skyscanner is a fun site if you are flexible and want to discover travel possibilities. You can put in dates and national/international and the site will give you trip options.

How to Find More Time to Travel

  • Add a long weekend to a business trip.

  • Plan to take vacations on 3-day weekends.

  • Always be on the lookout for openings in your schedule where you can fit in a getaway.

  • Look at your calendar each month and see where the open days are where you could plan a quick trip.

Is Travel Worth the Hassle? Yes!

  • When you make traveling a priority, possibilities will open up to you.

  • You and your children gain an education that can only be found while traveling.

  • Travel is a wonderful way to teach problem-solving to our children. Things will work out! Remember to focus on being calm and working through issues as they present themselves.

  • Travel broadens the way we think about others.
