Show Notes
Here is a basic outline of what I share in this podcast episode. For all of the details but sure to listen in.
Decide of what type of trip you want to go on: beach, mountains, cruise, theme park, national park, domestic, international, big city, historical sites, etc.
Getting There. Decide if you will drive or fly.
Accommodations. Decide on what type of place you’d like to stay. Hotels, Airbnb, VRBO, with friends or family.
Plan your itinerary. Take it in small steps. If you will visit multiple cities, consider focusing on one city a week for planning.
Plan activities. Remeber to leave free time in your schedule for resting and finding things to do along the way.
Print out confirmations and reservations so you can have paper documents with you in case things won’t pull up digitally.
If this makes you feel a bit stressed, don’t be shy about hiring a travel advisor. They trip plan every day and can save you time + money. Check out this podcast episode that discussed the value of using a travel agent.
